Job Title - Sr. Manager - Quant Lead

Job Description

1. The Quantitative Researcher will engage in managing survey study datasets with Outline India. We are looking for someone who has prior experience in managing large data sets, statistical knowledge of data interpretation and analysis. 

2. The role involves working on research projects, developing study designs, creating survey instruments, and performing data cleaning. The ideal candidate has experience in labelling and cleaning data using STATA or PYTHON and is willing to travel nationwide for fieldwork.

Responsibilities

Data checks and analysis

1.  Management and monitoring of datasets regularly.

2.  Developing, coding and deploying survey tools using CAPI programs like Survey CTO.

3.  Training the field team on the usage of SurveyCTO

4.  Coordination with the field team to ensure quality data checks.

5.  Oversee daily data collection activities and ensure adherence to data quality protocols

6.  Data cleaning & interpretation of numeric datasets

7. Quantitative analysis and visualisation

8. Assist in writing reports.

Field

1. Travel to the field for training and monitoring fieldwork

2.  Planning and budgeting for field surveys.

3.  Review of survey tools received from clients and translation of the same.

4.  Assist the research team in developing training material for the field team

5.  Designing field budget and managing project with end to end deliverables

6.  Experience in M&E project setting

7. Assisting the field enumerators team for deployment 

8. Monitoring & supervising the overall progress of data collection activity

Desired:

1. 7+ years (And upwards) of experience in quantitative studies.

2. Candidates having prior fieldwork experience will be given preference.

3. Professional experience in M&E in project-based settings.

4. Experience of working with National/ International NGOs/ UN Bodies/Government/start-ups will be valued.
