The impact assessment of Phase 2 of the Gender Empowerment through Integrated Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Initiative, commissioned by Tata Trusts through the Centre for microFinance (CmF), Jaipur, evaluates changes in menstrual health knowledge, attitudes, and practices across Rajasthan, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, and Jharkhand. The mixed-methods study spans 1,700 quantitative surveys and 32 qualitative interactions — including 8 FGDs and 24 KIIs with ASHAs, Anganwadi Workers, teachers, Medical Officers, and programme staff — generating evidence-based recommendations for future scale-up.
