Rahat was born and brought up in Gaya, Bihar. He has done his schooling from there itself.

He has completed his graduation in Economics from Madras University and Master’s degree from the Central University of Punjab.

He has worked with the National Council of Applied Economic Research as Research Associate. Also, he has 3 years of experience in research industries and has worked on projects across different sectors, mainly focusing on those in skills, health, education, and Tourism.

Hindi is his mother tongue, but he also has proficiency in English and Urdu.
