img-20160106-wa0015Water, sanitation and hygiene are important cornerstones of a community’s health and well-being. This fact is being more widely recognised in recent years, particularly as a result of initiatives such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan – however, despite rising awareness of its significance, a comprehensive study has not been conducted to assess the adoption of the appropriate procedures of hand hygiene.
